Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, as are so many girls of my generation and others! There are loads of great Harry Potter pieces of memorabilia and merchandise out there for those shopping for the perfect Christmas or Birthday gift for someone mad about Potter, and this post will be looking at some of my personal favorites.

Harry Potter Paperback Box Set

First of all, the most obvious gift for a Wizarding enthusiast is to buy them the box set of all 8 DVDs or all seven Harry Potter books in paperback! Its the perfect way to let them relive the magical experience over and over again.

Speaking of the books, if the girl you are shopping for keeps a diary or journal, a fun gift idea is to pick up a high quality Potter themed notebook. This vintage agenda book is very beautiful, while this incredible metal crest journal would be perfect for Gryffindor fans. For girls who love bad boys, here's a replica of Tom Riddle's diary.

You don't have to queue up for hours at Ollivanders at Universal Studios (like I did) to get the coolest Harry Potter gift off all - a replica wand - you can get them online! Pretty awesome. If you are shopping for a girl who can never have enough jewelry, you are very much in luck. There is a huge amount of truly beautiful Harry Potter themed rings, necklaces and bracelets out there for you to gift to her, as well as some trinket boxes to keep them in. Gifts for Girls who Like Disney's Princess Rapunzel (Tangled)

Get Tangled on DVD!

I'm a huge fan of the new 3D Disney Princesses - they have a certain sass that the old royalty didn't have. Rapunzel is one of my favorites too! This post is going to look at some gorgeous Tangled themed gift to get a Princess Rapunzel fan for Christmas or her birthday. Read on!

The first obvious gift for a Tangled fan is to buy them the movie on DVD or bluray. Bring the magic home right to them! For younger Tangled fans, you can buy a number of storybooks for them to read based on the movie. There's also a Tangled video game for the Nintendo Wii and DS for the gamer girls out there.

Figurines are always a fun present, as they are beautiful and very collectible, as well as making amazing bedroom decor. My personal favorite is the incredible and gorgeous Jim Shore figurine on the right featuring Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the boat. There's also a sassy figurine featuring Rapunzel swinging her frying pan and a cute and kitsch baby Rapunzel figurine for younger girls.

Every Princess needs to know what time it is, which is why I recommend picking up a cute Rapunzel themed wrist watch like the one above as a gift. You can also get a very pretty earring, necklace and bag jewelry set here.

For girls who love themed perfume, Disney also has a collection of Rapunzel perfumes, my personal favorite being this Rapunzel Eau De Toilette spray.

You can also get quite a number of Tangled themed clothing items. My favorite is the 'Tangled Forever in Your Love' t-shirt on the right, and you can also get a cute pull over top featuring Rapunzel and Flynn in the boat.

Shopping for a girls who can never have too many shoes? You can get some pretty awesome Tangled purple Ugg boots as well as some stunning costume shoes that are a replica of Rapunzel's from the movie.

Plushies galore! No girl's room is complete without a giant pile of plushies, and there are loads of Tangled teddies to collect. The leading lady is featured above, or you can pick up Rapunzel in her wedding gown instead. You can get other characters in plush form too, such as Pascal the Chameleon, Maximus the horse, and Flynn Rider.

For girls young and old who like to collect and play with dolls, they are in for a treat. You can get pretty much every character from the movie as a doll or action figure. The Mother Gothel and Rapunzel set on the left is pretty good value, as is this matching set of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.

Younger girls might also like this Tangled tower playset, or this boat ride playset. Its perfect for recreating her favorite bits of the movie at home.

Last but not least, if she hasn't seen the Ace Attorney movie, and yes, there is a movie, then that is the perfect movie for you. Its probably the best video game movie I've seen - no I'm not kidding. It's hilarious and well worth watching. It's an adaptation of the cases of the very first game, and its incredibly well done and true to the source material. Makes a good drinking game too.
