The military isn't just for the boys, and plenty of girls now aspire to do their bits for their country and join the armed forces. If a girl in your life is an aspiring soldier or just really likes supporting the troops, then why not get her an army themed gift for her birthday or for Christmas?

First of all, for younger girls and girls who love to collect plushies and teddy bears, why not buy her an army themed bear? You can get some truly awesome ones out there, in particular the gigantic bear featured above - I have a similar one and it is really big and huggable! It's head is actually bigger than mine, its really quite funny, and its a wonderful gift. If you are on a budget or you are looking for a smaller but equally adorable teddy, here is a very cute one which even sings. I'm sure she will love it!

Younger girls who have a doll collection may also appreciate getting a cute army themed doll or action figure for their collection. I particularly like the Army Outfit doll's outfit on the right - you have to get the American Girl doll separately if she doesn't already own one.

Another fun gift idea for the military-loving gal is some beautiful army themed fashion accessories. There are a number of military themed jewelry pieces out there to start you off - my favorite is the gorgeous U.S. Army charm necklace featured above. It's so stylish!

Last but absolutely not least, why not give the gift of charity? Make a donation to your local troops on their behalf!
