The military isn't just for the boys, and plenty of girls now aspire to do their bits for their country and join the armed forces. If a girl in your life is an aspiring soldier or just really likes supporting the troops, then why not get her an army themed gift for her birthday or for Christmas?

If you are on a budget or you are looking for a smaller but equally adorable teddy, here is a very cute one which even sings. I'm sure she will love it!

Younger girls who have a doll collection may also appreciate getting a cute army themed doll or action figure for their collection. I particularly like the Army Outfit doll's outfit on the right - you have to get the American Girl doll separately if she doesn't already own one.

Last but absolutely not least, why not give the gift of charity? Make a donation to your local troops on their behalf! The first gift that should jump to your mind for a Hunger Games fangirl is a cool DVD or blu-ray set, or the books if she hasn't read them yet, complete with all sorts of fun extras, behind the scenes goodies and commentaries. The DVD set above comes with both of the first movies in it and is available in Blu-Ray form, so that is a good place to start, meanwhile the boxed set on the right has all three of the Hunger Games trilogy books.

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, as are so many girls of my generation and others! There are loads of great Harry Potter pieces of memorabilia and merchandise out there for those shopping for the perfect Christmas or Birthday gift for someone mad about Potter, and this post will be looking at some of my personal favorites.

First of all, the most obvious gift for a Wizarding enthusiast is to buy them the box set of all 8 DVDs or all seven Harry Potter books in paperback! Its the perfect way to let them relive the magical experience over and over again.

Speaking of the books, if the girl you are shopping for keeps a diary or journal, a fun gift idea is to pick up a high quality Potter themed notebook. This vintage agenda book is very beautiful, while this incredible metal crest journal would be perfect for Gryffindor fans. For girls who love bad boys, here's a replica of Tom Riddle's diary.

I'm a huge fan of the new 3D Disney Princesses - they have a certain sass that the old royalty didn't have. Rapunzel is one of my favorites too! This post is going to look at some gorgeous Tangled themed gift to get a Princess Rapunzel fan for Christmas or her birthday. Read on!

The first obvious gift for a Tangled fan is to buy them the movie on DVD or bluray. Bring the magic home right to them! For younger Tangled fans, you can buy a number of storybooks for them to read based on the movie. There's also a Tangled video game for the Nintendo Wii and DS for the gamer girls out there.

Figurines are always a fun present, as they are beautiful and very collectible, as well as making amazing bedroom decor. My personal favorite is the incredible and gorgeous Jim Shore figurine on the right featuring Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the boat. There's also a sassy figurine featuring Rapunzel swinging her frying pan and a cute and kitsch baby Rapunzel figurine for younger girls.

Shopping for a girls who can never have too many shoes? You can get some pretty awesome Tangled purple Ugg boots as well as some stunning costume shoes that are a replica of Rapunzel's from the movie.
